Which electrical accreditation in Morocco is right for me?
Choosing the right training depends on the voltage range (Low Voltage or High Voltage) and the nature of the operations (electrical or non-electrical). Moroccan standards (often based on NF C 18-510) impose a clear distinction of roles. Your training should enable you to :
- Master safety distances and neighborhood zones.
- Use protective equipment (insulating gloves, mats, VAT).
- Carry out rigorousconsignment procedures for de-energizing.
- React effectively in the event of an electrical accident (fire or electrification).
Apave Maroc will support you according to your profile, whether you are:
- Non-electrician (H0/B0): Learn to work near installations by identifying danger zones.
- Operator or Works Supervisor (B1/B2/BC/BR): Train to carry out interventions, repairs or consignments in Low Voltage.
- Maintenance manager / Operations manager: Master overall risk management and the issuing of authorization certificates.
FAQ electrical certification training: our answers to your questions!
-
1. Why is electrical risk training mandatory in Morocco?
Electrical hazards are invisible but deadly. Training is the only way to ensure that personnel know the lockout procedures and approach limits to avoid electrocution and short circuits. -
2. Who needs to be licensed in Morocco?
Anyone (electrician or not) who needs to access electrical premises or carry out work, repairs, measurements or operations on electrical installations. -
3. What are the objectives of electrical authorization training?
Identify the dangers of electric arcs, master the use of the Voltage Absence Verifier (VAT), wear PPE correctly and apply the 5 steps of consignment. -
4. Where does electrical certification training take place in Morocco?
We have fully-equipped technical platforms in Casablanca, but our trainers can also work on your sites (factories, worksites, buildings) anywhere in Morocco with dedicated training kits. -
5. How long is the authorization valid for?
Electrical clearance is not acquired for life. Refresher training is generally recommended every 3 years (or 2 years for live working) to maintain skills and adapt to technical developments.
