For over 150 years, Apave has acted as a "trusted third party", accompanying the great revolutions that have fueled history, enabling them to come to fruition in complete safety. Today, the challenges are accelerating: the ecological, energy, climate and digital transitions we are undergoing are generating new risks that need to be identified, prevented and controlled. This is the ambition of our Green&Social range of services. More than ever, Apave has reinforced and strengthened its expertise and know-how in specific fields such as the environment, safety at work, climate and decarbonization, as well as in specific areas of expertise such as sustainability /CSRD reporting.

At RTP France, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a strategic lever for the company, enabling us to meet the expectations of our customers, comply with regulatory requirements and improve our environmental and social impact.

Apave carried out sampling and analysis of the excavated soil, using its expertise to guarantee compliance with environmental standards and protection of the environment.

The Line C project was awarded HQE sustainable infrastructure certification in October 2023 for the design of the structure.

Today, Tisséo Ingénierie is committed to implementing the project's environmental commitments and to meeting the challenges associated with the recycling of excavated soil, relying on reliable construction and inspection partners.

For Piveteau Bois, a specialist in the manufacture of wood solutions, the project to build a cogeneration boiler is exceptional, as it is the second installation of this type to be built in France.

What makes it special is that the boiler is fuelled by Solid Recovered Fuels (CSR).

Apave has been with us from the start of the project to meet our safety requirements. Apave was involved in a number of areas: verification of machine conformity, verification of pressure equipment, verification of lightning and electrical installations linked to the process, as well as analysis of discharges (atmospheric and water) and Atex risk management.

EDF Production Électrique Insulaire is an efficient and responsible electricity producer, committed to the energy transition and the economic and social development of island territories. The preservation of the latter is an ecological priority, with the verification of CO2 emissions from the thermal power plants that supply energy to the islands of Reunion, Corsica, Guadeloupe and Martinique. We have entrusted Apave with the task of verifying the greenhouse gas emission declarations of our 4 thermal power plants, thanks to their environmental expertise, their knowledge of the regulations in force and their presence throughout the country.

Sustainability and CSR

When it comes to CSR, we support our customers at every stage: training, maturity diagnosis, roadmap definition, deployment assistance. Depending on the customer's needs, this can take the form of end-to-end support or one-off assistance. In particular, we have an offer dedicated to support for CSRD compliance, which is a regulation requiring large companies exceeding a certain employee/sales threshold to publish a sustainability report. More broadly, within the Climate and Sustainability Department, we also carry out missions on the theme of climate (carbon footprint, decarbonization and adaptation to climate change) as well as on the theme of biodiversity (development and ecological impact study, biodiversity footprint).

"Every project begins with a scoping meeting to verify objectives, determine governance, present the methodologies used and validate the stages and timetable.

We always recommend including training in this start-up phase. We then produce our analyses independently, the project being punctuated by interactions via co-construction workshops, or validation meetings at each stage of the project. The final deliverables are the subject of a presentation, ideally to the Comex, which enables us to make a final assessment, and identify future support needs."
