Certification of the Burkina Faso National Customs School by Apave

12/09/2020
Our local teams in Burkina had the advantage of carrying out the ISO 9001 V 2015 certification of the Ecole Nationale des Douanes. This achievement was the fruit of the unwavering commitment of both Apave and the Ecole Nationale de la Douane.

What tasks have been given to us?

As part of its continuous improvement approach, the Burkina Faso National Customs School called on Apave for their certification needs, entrusting us with their initial ISO 9001 V 2015 audit. The teams mobilised for 5.5 days to successfully complete this mission.

After successfully completing this assignment, and in order to continue developing certification activities in the Gulf of Guinea, our teams are focusing on other markets in both the public and private sectors.

Following the successful completion of the audit, the Burkina Faso Customs School organised a ceremony to officially award its ISO 9001 certificate in June 2023. The event, organised by the government, was attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Forecasting, the Director of the Burkina Faso Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Director General of the National Customs School. Among other things, the Director of the END spoke about their certification process and the various efforts made. He thanked Apave for its professionalism and the quality of its support. It was a fine moment, and an opportunity for Marcel SOME, Finance and Accounting Supervisor, Africa Perimeter, to examine the challenges and opportunities of this certification, and to thank END for its confidence.

Our certification activities are progressing in Africa. The representatives of the Ecole Nationale des Douanes are satisfied with the collaboration, which is a great challenge!
